One of the LMC’s core roles is that of pastoral support for GPs. 

If you are struggling with a challenging situation either at work or personally, then the LMC is available to support you. This support is open to all GPs working in Gwent, whether as a partner, salaried or locum. 

We are also here to support you in the unfortunate event that you are involved in any potential performance issues. We know that these processes can be extremely stressful for GPs, and again, all GPs working in Gwent can come to us for confidential support. 

We can offer one-to-one support either virtually or face to face and we can help signpost you to other sources of support that you might need. 

If you feel that you would benefit from our support, then please GET IN TOUCH.  Please be reassured that we are used to dealing with highly confidential situations - any information shared with us will not get shared outside of the Executive unless we have your permission or if there is a risk either to yourself or others as GMC regulations oblige us.
